Under the ICT Division, the "Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Academy (iDEA) project" of Bangladesh Computer Council celebrates Independence Day with the digital approach. The program was organized today on Thursday, 26th March 2020 through Zoom Video Communications system online with startups of iDEA project.
"26th March" is our Independence Day. “March” is an important month of our national life. On March 26, the call for independence came through the speech of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the Ramna Race Course ground. It was accomplished through the armed struggle of March 26. Without any announcement, Pakistani invaders jumped mercilessly on Bengali in the name of "Operation Search Light" on March 25, and at midnight, the atrocities and massacres began. Then the war for liberation began. Finally, in exchange for the blood of millions of martyrs, we have found our beloved motherland "Bangladesh". So, "26th March" is a very important day for our Bengali. To make this day memorable, different events are usually held throughout the country. But due to the outbreak of coronavirus worldwide, the government of Bangladesh has canceled almost all of the Independence Day events this time. General holidays have been announced across the country from 26th March to 4th April. All have been asked to stay at home because of the risk of life in coronavirus. Many office activities are being done online in a digital system. The iDEA project of the ICT Division completes the event successfully with all the project officials and startups through online around this Independence Day. The program, which began online with the national anthem, ends with a prayer.
The program was chaired by Syed Mojibul Huq, Project Director (Additional Secretary) of iDEA Project. He said that all should work together to implement the dream of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation. The country is now going through a difficult time because of the Corona virus. Everyone, including businesspersons in the country, is worried now. Various measures are being taken from the government. We hope that everyone will be relieved of this danger soon. At this time, we all have to be by our side. We have to have the courage and need to be stronger mentally.
Deputy Director of iDEA Project Kazi Hosna Ara attended the event as well as representatives from startups including Meditor Health, Uparjon, journeymakerjobs.com, Fish Expert, Mona, Lazarus Robotics etc.
