Bangladesh’s first online news portal bdnews24.com has been offline since Friday afternoon. When you visit the site, only the logo is shown in the Bengali version, but the subdomain of the English version shows, ‘Sorry, you have been blocked’. A visit to the quintype.io address mentioned there showed that this was due to the ‘Error 22’ problem.

Error 22 is one of several Device Manager Errors. This system code shows when a hardware device is disabled in Device Manager.

Meanwhile, according to unconfirmed sources, the site is not showing any content due to a power outage on the server. Editor Taufiq Imroz Khaledi’s technical and management team is working to solve the problem.

All in all, it is understood that bdnews24.com is closed due to technical errors. Not subject to cyber-attack or state control.
