The internet data connection of this company is a little different from the normal one. All broadband in India is optical fiber dependent. But Starlink offers a satellite-based internet connection.

This service may start in October. That is why Starlink can get the Global Mobile Personal Communication by Satellite (GMPCS) license. Then it will become eligible for spectrum allocation. Starlink applied for a GMPCS license in India last year. The country’s Department of Telecommunications said it took time to process Starlink’s application because of delays in arranging some required documents. But it will cost a little more. Setup will cost 8 thousand to 10 thousand rupees. But then it will cost 300 to 400 rupees per month.
