Bangladesh ICT Journalist Forum (BIJF) intensely condemned stabbing Professor Dr. Mohammad Zafar Iqbal while he was on the stage of a celebration programme in Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST).

The association showed their outrage through a meeting called emergency on Saturday evening, March 3, 2018. BIJF President Arafath Siddiqi Shohag, General Secretary Sabbin Hasan, Joint Secretary Tarikur Rahman Badol, Research Secretary M Mijanur Rahman Sohel, Treasurer Golam Dostogir Touhid, Executive Member Khaled Ahsan were present in the meeting.

In a press release, BIJF demanded an exemplary punishment for the accused ones who drove this horrible attack on Professor Dr. Mohammad Zafar Iqbal. Even BIJF considered such incident a big threat to our ICT sector.
