Yesterday, on Thursday, April 4th, an Iftar gathering was organized at a restaurant in Gulshan by the Bangladesh ICT Journalist Forum (BIJF). In addition to technology-focused media workers, the event saw participation from educators, business leaders, representatives from communication companies, commercial entities, and dignitaries.

 

The event began with a prayer for peace and prosperity for the people of the country, conveyed through a supplication. Following that, speeches were delivered by various dignitaries including Wahid Sharif, Managing Director of DigiCon Technologies PLC and president of BACCO, Touhid Hossain, general secretary of BACCO and CEO of Fifotech, M. Imadul Haque, President of ISPAB and CEO of Optimax Communication Limited, Mostafizur Rahman Sohel, Managing Director of Advanced ERP BD Limited and Director of BASIS, Syeda Naushad Jahan Pramy, Chief Operating Officer of Lucid Technologies (LCT Solution Center), Mohammad Sahab Uddin, Senior Vice President of e-CAB, Joint secretary of e-Cab and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Daraz Bangladesh Khandakar Tasfin Alam, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Skytech Solutions, Musnad E Ahmed, were present.

 

Moreover, prominent figures from different sectors such as S.M. Rafiqullah, CEO of Sarabangla Dot Net Limited and Managing Director of Content Matters Limited, Niaz Morshed Elite, Founder and CEO of Nagad Limited and Dr. Muhammad Risalat Siddique, CEO and CIO of Crantis Associates Limited, were also present.

 

The event was presided over by BIJF President Naznin Nahar and General Secretary Sabbir Hasan. Also in attendance were joint secretary Sajedur Rahman, Organizing secretary Ariful Islam Arman, Treasurer Saiful Islam Shanto, Publication and Research secretary Asaduzzaman Limon, and Executive Committee members Enamul, Karim and Imadadul Haque, among others.
