Country’s only association for ICT journalists ‘Bangladesh ICT Journalist Forum (BIJF)’ has got an allocation for office space at Software Technology Park (Janata Tower) in Karwan Bazar, Dhaka. The forum organized an outing at the Ashulia campus of Daffodil International University on March 16, 2018. Participating the day long program, Post, Telecommunication and ICT Minister Mustafa Jabbar handed over the official permit of BIJF’s office allocation in Janata Tower to the forum’s president Mr. Arafath Siddiqi Shohag. General Secretary Sabbin Hasan and other members were also present then along with the BIJF President.

Post, Telecommunication and ICT Minister Mustafa Jabbar said- BIJF is working for the progress of country’s ICT sector in different ways. I used to know since long that BIJH was in need of an office space very badly. They demanded for a permanent office. So, considering the issue, now from the government, BIJF has been allocated officially for their office in Software Technology Park, Karwan Bazar, Dhaka. Hopefully, the association is likely to perform more smoothly from now on.

It is to be mentioned that currently, BIJF is operating their activities temporarily from 65, Mymensingh Lane, Rasul View Tower, Banglamotor, Dhaka. The forum can now operate with lower expense and for long duration through getting office allocation in Janata Tower.
