Grameenphone in telecom, Walton in TVs and refrigerators, Xiaomi in mobile phones, bKash in mobile financial services, and e-commerce Daraz have won the Best Brand Award 2024.

The awards were presented to the officials of the organizations in a grand ceremony at the Intercontinental Hotel in the capital on Thursday night (December 26). Bangladesh Brand Forum, the country’s largest organization of brand practitioners, has announced the names of the winners of its 16th Best Brand Awards.

This year, 44 brands were awarded the Most Loved Brand of Bangladesh or the country’s best brand honorary award in 44 different categories. In addition, 15 brands were awarded the ‘Overall Top 15 Most Loved Brands of Bangladesh’ award. In this event, an award titled ‘Most Emerging Brand of Bangladesh’ was also given. A total of 60 awards were given at the Best Brand Awards 2024, organized in partnership with Nsearch Limited and in collaboration with The Daily Star. In addition, the names of the 2nd and 3rd most loved brands in 44 categories were also announced at the event, based on the information obtained from the survey.

Local brands continue to dominate the overall top 15 brands in Bangladesh. This year, bKash has been named the best brand. Grameenphone and RFL Houseware have emerged as the second and third most popular brands in the country, respectively. Other brands ranked 4-15 on the list are: Radhuni Masala, Close Up, ACI Pure Salt, Swapna, Sunsilk, Ispahani Mirzapur Tea, Walton, Maggi 2 Minute Noodles, Pran Fruto, Parachute Advanced, Fresh Atta Maida Suji and Rupchanda Fortified Soybean Oil. Grameen was awarded the ‘Most Emerging Brand of Bangladesh’ award for ensuring the highest growth rate in the last 3 years based on the Brand Equity Index.

Daraz Bangladesh has been recognized as the country’s No. 1 e-commerce brand. For the fourth consecutive time, Daraz has achieved the status of the most loved brand in the e-commerce category. Food Panda has been the favorite in this category.

Nsearch Limited conducted a survey to select the best brand of the year. The survey was conducted in both urban and rural areas of eight divisions of Bangladesh. A total of 11,200 people were interviewed, with an equal percentage of women and men. Khandaker Samina Afrin, Managing Director of Nsearch Limited, explained the methodology of the Best Brand Award 2024 in a detailed discussion.

The Best Brand Awards were launched by the Bangladesh Brand Forum in 2008 to inspire and honor domestic and international brands present in Bangladesh. Over the course of more than a decade, the event has become the country’s top branding honor. The Best Brand Awards are organized to celebrate the achievements of the best brands in the country through their dedicated efforts.
