Mahfuz Uddin Ahmed has been removed from the post Managing Director of the state owned telecommunication organization BTCL. Despite signing three years agreement with the government, his appointment got withdrawn six months earlier to the validity of the agreement ends. Post, Telecommunication and ICT Ministry issued a withdrawal letter of his appointment yesterday, May 7.

As per concerned, there were numbers of different complaints against Mahfuz Uddin Ahmed. Even, he didn’t cooperate at all in government’s two priority projects. Rather he was proved to create different obstacles. That’s the reason he has been removed from this vital post, as one of the officials of the ministry confirmed.

Withdrawal of Mahfuz Uddin Ahmed got effective on the day the letter was issued by the Deputy Secretary (Company-1 Section) of the ministry Begum Nusrat Irin. Mahfuz Uddin Ahmed was appointed as BTCL Managing Director for the second term on November 15, 2016.
