Due to security breach of users’ data, Yahoo’s UK (United Kingdom) Division got fined by Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) of UK. With the state patronage, hackers hacked personal data of above 500 million users in 2014, as informed the company authority. All the data contained users’ names, email address, unencrypted security questions and answers.

ICO stated that Yahoo was failed to take required initiative in regard of these data security. On the other hand, Yahoo said that they didn’t comment on policymakers’ initiatives at all.
