‘No one has ever thought of the term Digital previously as we did. It is us who have declared first ‘Digital Bangladesh’. Then, others followed us. Like, Digital Britain, Digital India have been declared after us and a long while, as stated honorable Post, Telecommunication and ICT Minister Mustafa Jabbar in a press conference held at ICT Tower, Agargaon, Dhaka on January 12, 2017. Basically, different programmes and initiatives taken by ICT Division since last four years were focused on in the press conference.

Previously, ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak enlightened on the previous executed programmes done by ICT Division since last four years. He said-ICT Division has developed a plan regarding providing employment opportunities for 20 lakh youth in next three years. That’s why ‘Learning and Earning’ project is going to be executed.

Secretary in ICT Division Mr. Subir Kishore Chowdhury and others were also present in the press conference.
