Among others Bangladesh’s ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak MP appears in this prestigious list. Notable personalities in this list include Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, founder of the world wide web (www) Tim Berners-Lee, Indian Minister for Electronics and IT Ravi Shankar Prasad and Taiwanese Minister for Digital Audrey Tang. They also offer a free platform helping public servants and their partners in more than 120 countries across the globe. State Minister Palak is placed in this inaugural list of top 100 people. In formulating this list, nominations were received from renowned international organizations including OECD, the Open Government Partnership, USAID, etc. that is finalized through rigorous research by experts.

In 2016, Zunaid Ahmed Palak MP was nominated Young Global Leader (YGL) by World Economic Forum (WEF), an international organization for public-private cooperation. Every year WEF publishes a list of below 40 years most promising leaders in the world as YGL.
