Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority has allocated plots for nine companies at the Industrial Zone of Bangabandhu Hi-Tech Park City in Kaliakoir, Gazipur. These companies are to invest $140 million in Hi-Tech City and employment opportunities will be created for around 25 thousand people.
On Tuesday, September 25, a program titled ‘Land Allocation Signing Ceremony of Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City’ got held at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) where agreements were signed with the companies and they were allocated plots officially. Companies like Robi Axiata, Genex, BJIT Software, Fair Electronics, KDS Group, Intercloud, Business Automation, Nazdaq Technologies and JR Enterprise got the opportunity for investments for next 40 years.
Post, Telecommunications and ICT Minister Mustafa Jabbar was the Chief Guest, whereas ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak was Special Guest in the program presided over by ICT Secretary Zuena Aziz.
