Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained five persons on accusation of fraudulence by using fake Facebook accounts named after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her family members.

They were detained in a drive carried out in various parts of the capital city Wednesday (Jan 16).

The detainees had been collecting money by using the fake accounts. Besides, they ran seditious and inciting campaign by spreading rumor on Facebook, said RAB Legal & Media Wing Senior Assistant Director ASP Mizanur Rahman.
