Md. Nadir Bin Ali, Joint Director (IT), Daffodil International University has been awarded Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cybersecurity from Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), with his thesis titled “A New Model for a Network-based Intrusion Prevention System Inspired by Apoptosis".

Chancellor of Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) formally conferred him the Ph D degree at its convocation ceremony held recently. Dr Nadir did his research under the guidance of Prof. Dr Madihah Mohd Saudi, FST, USIM. Dr Nadir is working at Daffodil International University as the Joint Director of IT and the Head of the Cisco Networking Academy. Dr. Nadir is the son of late Abid Ali and late Bilkish Begum of village-Noagaon of  Upadi Union of Matlab South Upzila under Chandpur District. He expresses his gratitude to all who have supported and inspired him in his great achievement. He seeks blessings from all.
