Reflecting on a shared vision of strengthening the country’s digital landscape of financial transactions, United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB), one of the largest first-generation banks of Bangladesh, has signed a strategic alliance agreement of Payment Gateway Services with Ryans Computer, a household name in computer retailing. 

This strategic alliance is poised to ensure a seamless and secure payment solution under UCB’s advanced and reliable payment gateway services and enable customers to make payments more conveniently while purchasing from Ryans Computer. 

Mohammad Shafiqur Rahman, Head of Retail Business Division of UCB, and Ahmed Hasan, Managing Director of Ryans Computers Limited, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. The signing ceremony was recently held at UCB’s head office. 

Mohammad Golam Yeazdani, Head of Digital Banking & Transformation Division of UCB; Nesar Uddin Ahmed, Head of E-commerce of UCB; Sharif Munirul Huq, Head of Merchant Acquiring of UCB; Shazedul Karim, Chief Finance Officer of Ryans Computers Limited; Abdullah Al Mamun, Manager, Operation Management of Ryans Computers Limited along with other key representatives from both organizations were present on occasion during the signing. 

Under the agreement, UCB will deliver the most advanced payment gateway solutions to Ryans Computers to ensure a gamut of benefits, including smooth transaction options, leveraging Payment Gateway Service with full 3D secure code verification for all types of Visa and MasterCard. As digital transactions continue to evolve, both entities look forward to maximizing customers’ convenience by ensuring reliable and secured cashless payment solutions through this collaboration
